Identify Your Level of Emotional Awareness

1 - When faced with a challenging situation, how do you typically react emotionally? *

I tend to suppress my emotions and deal with the situation later.

I feel overwhelmed and struggle to identify what I'm feeling.

I acknowledge my emotions and try to understand why I'm feeling that way.

I quickly react without considering my emotions.

2 - How often do you check in with yourself to assess your emotional state? *

Rarely, if ever.

Occasionally, when I feel particularly stressed or upset.

Regularly, as part of my daily routine.

I don't see the need to check in with my emotions.

3 - How comfortable are you with expressing your emotions to others? *

Not comfortable at all; I prefer to keep my feelings to myself.

Somewhat comfortable, depending on the situation and the person.

Very comfortable; I believe in being open and honest about my emotions.

I rarely express my emotions to others.

4 - How do you handle conflicts or disagreements with others? *

I avoid confrontation and try to suppress my emotions.

I often feel overwhelmed and struggle to communicate my feelings effectively.

I calmly express my emotions and try to understand the other person's perspective.

I react impulsively without considering my emotions or the consequences.

5 - How do you typically cope with stress or difficult emotions? *

I distract myself with other activities or suppress my emotions.

I tend to bottle up my feelings and avoid addressing them.

I engage in self-care activities and seek support from friends or family.

I ignore my emotions and push through the stress without addressing it.

6 - How aware are you of the physical sensations that accompany your emotions (e.g. racing heart tense muscles)? *

I rarely notice physical sensations when experiencing emotions.

I sometimes notice physical sensations but don't pay much attention to them.

I'm usually aware of physical sensations and use them to understand my emotions better.

I don't pay attention to physical sensations or their connection to my emotions.

7 - How willing are you to explore uncomfortable or unpleasant emotions? *

Not willing at all; I prefer to avoid anything that makes me feel uncomfortable.

Somewhat willing, but I often find it challenging to confront difficult emotions.

Very willing; I believe in facing my emotions head-on to learn and grow.

I avoid exploring uncomfortable emotions altogether.

8 - How do you view emotions ? *

I see emotions as a weakness and try to suppress them.

I find emotions confusing and overwhelming.

I view emotions as valuable signals that provide insight into my inner world.

I don't pay much attention to emotions and presfer to focus on logic and reason.
